Don A. Wilhelmus O.D. Dr. Wilhelmus graduated in 1982 with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry. He spent his first three years as an Optometrist in the United States Navy before moving to the Dallas area in 1985. Dr. Wilhelmus still holds rank of commander in the United States Navy Reserve. Dr. Wilhelmus' special interests are working with contact lenses, primary eye care, children, and low vision. Dr. Wilhelmus is a board certified optometrist who has been involved in Low Vision Therapy for over 30 years. Many eye doctors and blind rehabilitation specialists have trusted Dr. Wilhelmus by referring their patients with special vision needs. Dr. Wilhelmus is known nationally for his work in Low Vision and Blind Rehabilitation. Jane Lee O.D. Dr. Lee obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of Houston in 1994. She then continued on to the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated with Beta Sigma Kappa honors in 1998. Since then she has worked with Dr. Wilhelmus treating and managing ocular disease, fitting contact lenses and providing eye care for all age groups. Dr. Lee is a regular volunteer at her daughter's school and is an active participant in the Gift of Sight Program. She has been active in the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and the Northeast Texas Optometric Association. She and her family reside in Plano.
